![]() If there IS an explanation somewhere and I'm just unaware of it, then it's my own fault but I haven't been able to find anything about it. risks are of using the feature and also an explanation as to what the feature is intended to be used for. I just wish that when something like this is updated and included in a utility that is as central to the functioning of an MSI notebook as Dragon Center is, that there would be some sort of instructions detailing what the benefits vs. ![]() ![]() In the BIOS, I have RAM speed set to 2400 mhz instead of 2100.don't know if that is somehow related. basically what happens is that intel's turbo boost along with the dragon center turbo mode causes the clock to go over 3.0ghz but the cooling of the laptop wasnt made to handle the boost so a lot of people disable turbo (on throttlestop) which causes the clock to stay at the stock (2.8ghz in some models for example), however some people. But I'm just curious if I slide the sliders and click save what will change and if anything will change if I don't have an unlocked CPU. When I click the settings button there are two sliders that I can Slide to increase "Core Clock Offset" and "VRAM Clock Offset". Depending on what graphics card is in your laptop you may or may not gain any performance from changing the settings, the battery is. When I click on it there is a little settings button. You can get around it by manually changing settings in the Nvidia control panel, i can't remember off the top of my head where abouts the setting is but i know i've seen it before. I just noticed that I have a new speed setting for SHIFT in Dragon Center.
